  I first went to Mom's the Word in the beginning of my second trimester. I walked out with essentials for the rest of pregnancy: a comfy dress (nursing friendly), maternity jeans that fit and didn't look like maternity jeans (that I wore everyday), and a few tops to grow with me. The staff at mom's the word are true professionals: they know exactly how to fit and style pregnant and nursing women. I would have bought myself entirely different sizes in the jeans and bra, but the sizes that Emily convinced me to buy were perfect. Over the last 9 months I've returned to buy a number of items. Their Alex & Harry line are soo soft and perfect for pregnancy and nursing - I wore the jumpsuit at 9 months pregnant, home from the hospital, and to a dinner party last week. I also now live in their "perfect nursing camisole". Their clothes are not cheap, but they've held up much better than the maternity items I bought at the big box stores and I felt more like myself dressed in clothes that fit perfectly and are stylish. Highly recommend!
